Learning Objectives
- Understand what sailing is and the different types of boats and vessels used in the sport.
- Identify entry pathways into sailing in Australia (come & try days, Tackers/learn to sail, club programs) and know how to get involved.
- Recognise the different types of racing (fleet, match, team, offshore, foiling) and how each style of racing works.
- Explore the different pathways sailing can lead to — from social recreation, to foiling, to offshore adventure, to Olympic or professional sailing.
