The RYA continues to expand internationally with around 2400 training centres globally including centres in NZ, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and of course Australia! The RYA's benchmark qualification the 'Yachtmaster' is highly respected around the world by recreational and professional mariners alike, and is recognised for commercial use on sailing vessels by AMSA in Australia.

The RYA Cruising schemes and the Australian Sailing Keelboat Program provide pathways for all levels of experience to progress seamlessly into offshore sailing, and especially to pursue international adventures & employment opportunities.

Australian Sailing is in partnership with the RYA due to its qualifications being recognised and respected around the world, and with more than 130 years experience, together we are able to provide a world-class training platform.
