Australian Sailing has a responsibility to endorse race officials applying to World Sailing for their first accreditation. The purpose of the endorsement is to ensure the applicant meets the highest of standards expected in the sport.

Australian race officials who are working toward making their initial application to World Sailing can view guidance on what Australian Sailing will look at when asked to endorse their application. The considerations are not exhaustive, and nor are they compliance requirements. They will, however, give Australian Sailing greater insight to the applicant and their suitability for a role on the world stage.

People who are interested in being a race official at the highest level can take these considerations into account as they pursue their career.
