Prescriptions to the IRC Rules

Australian Sailing’s prescriptions to the IRC Rule have been changed. The prescription to IRC Rule 21.3.6 concerning whisker poles has been deleted. The reason this has been deleted is because the IRC Rule was changed to only rate spars and whisker poles set to leeward to set a sail or a flying headsail. That change to the IRC Rule made the Australian Sailing prescription redundant.
Other Australian Sailing prescriptions to the Rule concerning crew weight under IRC Rule 22.4 and spinnakers under IRC Rule 21.6.1, still apply.
