Three proposed amendments to the Special Regulations are now available for public comment. Comments are closed on Friday 6 October 2023.

Public comment is invited on three proposed amendments to the Special Regulations. The feedback received is important to Australian Sailing and will help to inform the decision on how to proceed.  

The amendments available to comment on are:

• Medical Kit. Please click here to view and provide comment on the proposed amendment to change the format of the current medical kit.
• Emergency Steering. Please click here to view and provide comment on the proposed amendment to introduce the need for crews to be trained and practiced at deploying and using emergency steering.
• Fire Extinguishers. Please click here to view and provide comment on the proposed amendment to remove the explanatory note from Fire Extinguishers in the Special Regulations.
