World Sailing Annual Meetings

Published Wed 13 Oct 2021

Submissions for the World Sailing Annual Conference are publicly available and interested race officials can see what proposals are being considered.

The Racing Rules Committee has thirteen submissions relating to the RRS and another four concerning the Case Book. Submissions address things such as the definition of Finish, looking to fix an unintended consequence of the new definition. There is another to change the rules for shortening the course to make them fairer to all boats in the race.

Race officials should find these submissions interesting as they show the future direction of the RRS and the arguments behind changes.

The submissions for the World Sailing Annual Conference are publicly available at https://www.sailing.org/meetings/2021-conference.php
