Sailing Event Notification System (SENS)
Transport for NSW developed the Sailing Event Notification System to allow sailing events to proceed without needing an aquatic event licence.
Under the Sailing Event Notification System, sailing clubs must notify Transport for NSW about sailing activities and events so they don't need an aquatic event licence. This gives Transport and other waterway users notice of anticipated activity levels on NSW waterways.
Event organisers can notify Transport about a series of similar activities up to 12 months in advance. You need separate notification forms for events that are significantly different.
