How to get involved?
Instructors and Coaches play an important role in growing sailing, and you don’t need to be an expert to get started. The free Australian Sailing Learning Centre, combined with a face-to-face training course, equips you to support others in sailing and provides you with the resources you need to succeed in your role.

Eligibility to deliver Discover Sailing Programs and/or Participation Programs

Recognition from the sailing community and the general public that you have been trained to a high standard and are therefore qualified to deliver safe, consistent, quality experiences to participants

Public Liability Insurance for coaches when delivering club-sanctioned training, and for instructors when delivering accredited Discover Sailing Courses at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
