Time Corrector listings for IRC

Published Thu 03 Mar 2022

Clubs running events scored on IRC can access Time Corrector listings online.

The IRC rating is used for scoring all of Australia’s premiere keelboat regattas and races. Boats’ corrected times are calculated using IRC’s Time Corrector (TCC) multiplying its elapsed time by its TCC. For the mathematicians out there, corrected times happen to be rounded to the nearest second.

Clubs can access an online listing of TCCs on the IRC website here. This listing supplies clubs running IRC events with the information they may require. Please note that it does not include the design of the boat or any more data than the basic length and draft. These measurements also happen to help with berthing arrangements for some events. The listing is updated daily.

Information about the IRC rating system can be found here.
